This is a slight departure from the previous posts as it’s the only one written in the present. Moth EP finally released today and it’s been a very long process creating it. There would be a visualiser video to go in here but it is currently still half a day away from exporting on my old MacBook. It feels excellent to finally have this released and to have taken a creative idea that popped into my head a year ago and to have carried it through to the end. I think finishing a creative idea is one of the hardest things someone can do. To have a creative vision, the skill to execute it, and the motivation to continually work on it is so rare and why so many dreams are thrown away. Especially due to needing the long-term motivation. Starting is equally as difficult, having an idea and just chasing it is something I’ve found you need to practice at doing.

This EP took a year to make, two years if you include the direct events that feed into it, and a quarter of a lifetime if you include everything else. I’m incredibly happy that everything in life that’s lead to this small moment has and I can’t wait to continue to create and learn and grow as an artist. I'm so greatful for all of the support my friends have shown me and all of the feedback they've given me and I'm hungry to make more stuff. I’ve recently discovered slowcore is awesome and I’ve been writing a tonne between working on all of the marketing and social media content for this release. All I’m going to say is that December is the next goal.
Thank you.
